How many companies in cities in Shelby County received FDA inspections in Q3?

There were four companies in cities associated with Shelby County, Tennessee, that received four FDA inspections in the third quarter of 2024, according to reports from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This is a 33.3% decrease from the number of companies inspected in the previous quarter, when six companies received six inspections.

Most of the companies inspected at the time were involved in the Biologics sector. The second most common type of company inspected worked in the Drugs sector.

All of the companies were in line with FDA regulations, and don’t need to adjust their managing operations or regulatory/administrative actions.
