Memphis women’s golf to finish regular season at Ironwood Invitational

The Memphis women’s golf team will conclude its regular season at the Ironwood Invitational, which takes place from Sunday, April 5, to Tuesday, April 7. The tournament is hosted by East Carolina University and will be held at the Ironwood Golf & Country Club in Greenville, North Carolina.

The event marks the final competition before postseason play for the Tigers. Tournament play starts with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Central Time on Sunday. The schedule continues with an 18-hole round on Monday beginning at 9 a.m., followed by the final round on Tuesday starting at 10 a.m.

Memphis aims to build upon its recent performance after finishing eighth in the Nashville Invitational. The team was led by a player who secured sixteenth place individually during that event.

The field for this year’s Ironwood Invitational includes Appalachian State, Boston University, Campbell, College of Charleston, Columbia, East Carolina, Elon, Gardner-Webb, Georgia State, Jacksonville, Memphis, Old Dominion, Towson, Wofford and Xavier. The format is stroke play over a total of fifty-four holes.
