Memphis women’s golf will participate in the Nashville Invitational at General’s Retreat Golf Course in Hermitage, Tennessee, starting March 23. The event is hosted by Lipscomb and will feature a practice round on Sunday, followed by tournament play beginning Monday with a double shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. Central Time. The final round is scheduled for Tuesday, also with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start.

The tournament brings together teams from across the country, including Lipscomb, Loyola-Chicago, Eastern Washington, Delaware, Ball State, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), Dayton, Bellarmine, Tennessee State, Northern Illinois, North Alabama, Belmont, Seattle, Memphis, Longwood and Austin Peay. The format will be stroke play over 54 holes with each team playing five golfers and counting the top four scores.

This marks the Tigers’ return to competition after their recent trip to California two weeks ago. In that event—the Southern California Invitational—the team finished tied for fifth place following strong performances from several players who placed in the top-25.

The General’s Retreat Golf Course is known for its layout through natural Tennessee wetlands along the Cumberland River and will play as a par-72 course measuring 6,210 yards for this tournament.

Fans can follow Memphis Tigers Golf through official channels and social media for updates throughout the event.

Looking ahead, the Nashville Invitational provides another opportunity for Memphis to build momentum as they continue their spring season.
