Tonight was the last Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting of 2022 and the last meeting for Mayor A. Keith McDonald, City CAO Mark Brown, Public Works Director Mike Adams, Director of Code Enforcement Jim Brown, Fire Chief Terry Wiggins, Director of Engineering Rick McClanahan and Chief Police Inspector Tina Schaber and Alderman W.C. “Bubba” Plesant. We wish them the best on their retirement!
Mayor McDonald also recognized the City Chaplin Scott Greer from New Hope Christian Church, for his service to our city.
Tonight we also recognized the Jeanette Rainey Volunteer of the Year Award. This year we honored 2 volunteers who have gone over and above serving the city as volunteers. Dennis Lyon, a member of the Parks Advisory Board and Glen Mullins, Bartlett Station Commission member.
