County-Wide Emergency Alert System | Shelby County
Today, the Office of Emergency Management/Homeland Security- Shelby County Government will announce a county-wide emergency alert system. The agency is partnering with FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency to notify county residents of major emergencies using their national system, Integrated Public Alert and Warning System, simply known as IPAWS.
