Annual “Secret Santa” event | Shelby County Sheriff's Office
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Volunteer Services Bureau held its annual “Secret Santa” event on Saturday, December 17, at the SCSO Training Academy. A Secret Santa, who is a member of the sheriff’s office, purchased gifts for 76 children to help make their holidays merry and bright. Sheriff Floyd Bonner, Jr. attended and enjoyed meeting the children and families. This event is in partnership with the Department of Children’s Services and liaison Lillian Hampton. Thank you to dozens of sponsors including: Partnership with the RFC Foundation, Samaritan's Feet International, Mentors Changing Minds, the Washington Family, the Phelps Family, Tonya McCoy, Chuckles Comedy Club, Sheriff Floyd Bonner Jr., and Director Jason Bartlett.
