West Alabama outscored the Christian Brothers University men's basketball team 37-22 in the second half to help it earn a 60-53 win, on Monday night, at Pruitt Hall.   • A layup from Daniel Loos helped give the Bucs a 17-9 lead with 10:21 left in the first half. 
  • The Bucs made seven of their first 10 shots to start the game. 
  • With 15 seconds remaining, UWA knocked down a three pointer that cut the CBU lead to 31-23 going into halftime. 
  • UWA was just 9-31 from the floor in the first half. 
  • The Tigers outscored CBU 15-8 in the first 7:16 to cut the deficit to 39-38 with 12:44 left. 
  • UWA used an 8-2 run to take a 50-49 lead with 5:32 left. 
  • A Nick Deifel jumper cut the UWA lead to 56-53 with 2:19 remaining. 
  • The Tigers held CBU scoreless for the rest of the contest to hold on for the win. 
  • CBU missed its final four shots of the contest.

  • UWA had its comeback aided by converting 17 of its 19 free throw attempts, including 14-15 in the second half.
