The SCSO Explorer Academy is currently accepting applications for male and female youth 14-17 years of age. “Law enforcement is one of the most noble professions a person can pursue,” said Shelby County Sheriff Floyd Bonner, Jr. “Through this program, participants become part of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office family and have the chance to learn the educational and career opportunities upon graduating from high school, as well as college.” Questions?  Visit https://www.shelby-sheriff.org/explorer-academy for more information on this summer program.
