Shelby County Sheriff's Office detectives have arrested two suspects for the home invasion and attempted carjacking on January 14 in Lakeland | Shelby County Sheriff's Office
SCSO detectives have arrested two suspects for the home invasion and attempted carjacking on January 14 in Lakeland: Demarquarious Smith, 24, and Kevin Hicks, 23.
Both are charged with the following: two counts of Especially Aggravated Kidnapping; two counts of Aggravated Robbery; Aggravated Burglary; Theft of property $60,000-$250,000; and Possessing stolen property, to wit: stolen checks. Smith is also charged with Convicted Felon in Possession of a firearm w/Prior Violent Convictions.
