County Sheriff | Shelby County Sheriff's Office Gov
The spring 2023 Sheriff Floyd Bonner, Jr. Citizens’ Academy kicked off March 21 at the SCSO Training Academy. Dozens of Shelby County citizens signed up to attend the five-week course, either in person or virtual. The Citizens’ Academy allows the community the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the daily operations, general information, and inner workings of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office. Sessions include lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and in-person visits to various SCSO entities. The next class will begin in fall 2023.
