Shelby County Sheriff's Office Patrol Services Division received a nice surprise from Morning Sun Cumberland Presbyterian Church

049e

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office’s Patrol Services Division received a nice surprise from Morning Sun Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Cordova. Jan Riggins, along with Beaver Long, Becky Delich, and Gwen Hromada, are part of a quilting group at the church that creates the stuffed animals for children SCSO comes in contact with who have experienced traumatic encounters. Assistant Chief Newt Schaeffer of Patrol Services and Lieutenant Jeremy Finch, Commander of the SCSO Patrol K-9 unit, received the stuffed animals on behalf of Shelby County Sheriff Floyd Bonner, Jr. for distribution to the three patrol shifts and SCSO traffic units. According to Mrs. Riggins, this group provides handmade quilts to the West Cancer Clinic, as well. Thank you for your generosity!
