The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Services honors deputies who have distinguished themselves in their daily duties. On July 8 at the SCSO substation, Assistant Chief Newt Schaeffer, Chief Inspector Derek Mills, Lt. Jeremy Finch, and Lt. Corey Warren recognized Patrolman Joshua Pae, honoring him as Deputy of the Month for June 2022.
During the month of June, Deputy Pae made numerous arrests involving both narcotics and weapons seizures, as well as preventing various other criminal activities from occurring through his proactive enforcement methods.
Deputy Pae consistently leads his shift in self-initiated activity and is always willing to assist others when needed. He was recognized for his proactive approach to policing by going beyond the initial traffic stop and helping to prevent criminal activity in Shelby County. Deputy Pae has been with the Sheriff’s Office since 2020 and currently works on patrol afternoon shift.
