Congratulations to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office’s Jail Division Gang Intelligence Unit for its selection as the Corrections Gang Unit of the Year for the state of Tennessee. This prestigious award is presented annually at the Tennessee Gang Investigators Association Annual Training Conference. This year’s conference was held in Chattanooga, Tennessee August 22-24. The SCSO Jail Division Gang Intelligence Unit was selected from eligible jail, prison, and correctional facilities throughout the entire state of Tennessee, a monumental accomplishment for everyone in the Jail Division.
