Shelby County Sheriff's Office Patrol Deputy of the Month for October

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office Patrol Field Bureau honors deputies who have distinguished themselves in their daily duties. On November 18 at the SCSO substation, Assistant Chief Deputy Anthony Buckner, Chief Inspector David Boddie, and Lieutenant Corey Warren awarded a plaque and citation to Patrolman Aaron Campbell, honoring him as Deputy of the Month for October 2022.

Deputy Campbell is consistent in his attendance to work and response to stolen vehicles. During the month of October, Deputy Campbell's tour of duty statistics included two felony arrests, one misdemeanor arrests, 11 regular citations, 12 courtesy citations, and three instances of recovery of stolen vehicles, which included two arrests.

Deputy Campbell had shown good awareness when responding to license plate reader hits and also demonstrates knowledge of the data smart policing areas in his district. 

Deputy Campbell, who serves on the morning shift and has been with the Sheriff’s Office since February 2020, is commended for his dedication and proactive approach to his duties.
