Congratulations to our September officer of the month, Christian Rodriguez. During September, the police department was notified that a stolen vehicle had entered the city near Stage Road and Summer Avenue. Within two minutes, Officer Rodriguez was able to locate the vehicle on the Hollywood cinema lot. The suspect fled on foot across Stage to the CVS pharmacy lot, where he was captured by Officer Rodriguez and placed into custody. Officer Rodriguez was able to coordinate the collection of evidence, photographing, and recovery of the vehicle on the scene as well as arresting the suspect. Great job.
