I just received word that one of our citizens received a call from someone representing themselves as a Bartlett Police Officer. The caller attempted to solicit money from the citizen for “missed court date warrant”. I assure you that warrants can not be cleared over the phone and we will never ask you to pay with ”green dot” prepaid cards. If you ever have a question whether a phone call received came from a legitimate police officer, or not, you can always call Dispatch at 385-5555 to verify.
